Vinyl Reissues
To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of “Kill Em All”, we are reissuing “Kill Em All” and “Ride the Lightning” on vinyl as originally released on a single disc at 33 1/3 rpm, and a deluxe edition at 45 rpm. Both reissues, now available in the Metallica.com Store, come in their original sleeves with the deluxe edition a double gatefold, 2 disc, 180 gram 45 rpm version and both were Half Speed Mastered from the original analog tapes at Mobile Fidelity for the ultimate listening experience with audiophile quality!
Both releases will also be available at your local retailer on Tuesday, April 15 in North America and in the rest of the world, on Monday, May 19.
