Ellie and Marcus have been rolling and scooching for about a month now and recently pulling themselves up on their playpen wall and walking along it (for the last few weeks).  Ellie is a bit further along than Marcus with getting into the crawling position but until tonight I’d only ever seen her go backwards.  BUT… tonight Ellie crawled from the couch to her jumper (about 2 feet) and then later crawled across the playpen to get to me!  So little Elle is officially a crawler! 

Incidently, last weekend we had to lower the crib mattresses because I went in to check them and they were both standing, thankfully on the inside rail, just chatting it up and having a good time.  Tonight, Ellie stood up in the crib and pulled down part of the mobile — so those are gone now. 

My little monkeys are starting to get mobile, watch out!!

They didn’t seem particularly interested.  Ellie sock was coming off and Marcus just leaned back for a nap-time!

And they both got 5 shots! Doc says they are both doing wonderfully and gave them the go ahead for more substantial foodstuffs. 

The other big news is that Ellie broke through her very first tooth this week!

Twinnie Exercise Time!

Baby Ellie and Baby Marcus on their playmat.  Ellie practices holding her head up while Marcus perfects the ancient art of toe-eating.  Ellie did roll-over, before and after I was recording.  She’s been going from belly-to-back for about a week and a half now.  Marcus can go from back-to-belly but not often.

First ‘official’ day back at in the cube.  Also the first day that the twins went to daycare.  Suprisingly I was only 5 minutes late into the parking lot making me 10 minutes late by the time I got the laptop fired up.  (I was able to turn all of my components around while Windows booted – thanks to whomever keeps rearranging my desk!)  Got all the kids to school and managed to get here with my coffee and all other needed items!  Stay tuned for next weeks hi-jinks as I attempt to work from the office TWICE!

Ellie and Marcus had their 4-month checkup today and passed with flying colors!  They are both happy, healthy little babies!

They also had to get 2 shots and an oral vaccine which didn’t go over well.  It wasn’t nearly as bad as their 2-month shots but they both cried.  Ellie alot more than Marcus again but Marcus seems to be the one who is going to be feverish.  I just gave them both another dose of Tylenol with bedtime.  Hopefully they won’t be sick like they were last time.
